A New Zealand-invented and manufactured prebiotic ingredient made from locally-grown gold kiwifruit has recently won major international awards in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Prebiotics are rapidly gaining popularity worldwide for promoting gut health by providing food and fibre for gut-friendly bacteria, so this award success is not only a win for its maker Anagenix, but a win for New Zealand’s natural health products industry as a whole.

Research shows the global prebiotic ingredients market to be worth USD 6.78 billion in 2021 and is expected to reach around USD 20.78 billion by 2030 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.25% from 2022 to 2030.
